Recommended hardware and software requirements for Oasis montaj version 9.1

Operating System

Windows 10 (64-bit) - Recommended.
Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit)


A multi-core Intel i5 or i7, or an AMD A10 or FX CPU is recommended.


8-16 GB recommended, 4 GB minimum required.


A graphics card supporting OpenGL 3.3 is needed to run with hardware acceleration. Software based graphics rendering at much lower performance levels are supported for systems without an OpenGL 3.3 card.


The minimum graphics cards required for hardware acceleration would be :

§ Intel: HD Graphics 2500, 4000 (Intel HD Graphics 2000 and 3000 do not support OpenGL 3.3)

§ NVidia: Any card with OpenGL 3.3 support

§ AMD: Any card with OpenGL 3.3. support


Recommended graphics cards for better performance would be :

§ Intel: HD Graphics 6000 or 520

§ NVidia: OpenGL 4.0 Support & 4GB RAM

§ AMD: OpenGL 4.0 Support & 4GB RAM

GPU Computing











If you wish to improve your computation time by using your GPU, a more advanced graphics cards is required. The minimum cards that provide benefits over using your CPU are :

§ AMD : R7 240, HD7700

§ NVidia : Quadro K620, GeForce GTX 570


For substantial performance gains, we recommend :

AMD : R9 270

NVIDIA : Quadro 4000, GeForce GTX 750


Any Windows® supported colour printer. Hewlett Packard® large-format ink-jet plotters are recommended.

Installation Permissions

When installing, you MUST be logged in with Administrator permissions.

Installation Disk Space

2 GB or more of free space on the Program Files drive is required for the installation process.

Data Disk Space

Data disk space depends on the volume of project data to be processed and the printer driver you are using. We recommend 500 GB to 1 TB, minimum 50 GB.


Internet Connection: To use VOXI, we recommend a medium to high-speed internet connection (512Kbps upload and 1Mbps download or higher). The faster your internet connection, the faster you will be able to upload your modelling information to the VOXI cloud servers and download your results.

Internet Browser: To use the internet capabilities in Oasis montaj or Target, you will need to install Internet Explorer 8.0 or later. This does not mean that you have to have Internet Explorer as your default browser; Oasis montaj and Target just use the internet connection technology supplied in IE8.

The following software prerequisites are required and will be downloaded and installed if not present:
• Microsoft .NET 4.5.2
• ESRI ArcEngine 10 (SP3)

Language Support

East Asian Language Pack (for simplified Chinese character display)
