The high-end gamma ray spectrometry RS-700 Mobile System is used in geophysical exploration and geological mapping. The system is modular allowing for single or multiple detectors in order to optimize the configuration for operational constraints. The system is designed for minimal operator interaction while advanced users can monitor the data and system performance on a computer with RSI’s proprietary RadAssist software.
RSI’s suite of handheld and portable instruments offer rapid and cost effective assays of K, U, Th of core or outcrop which aid in interpretation of shales, clay content and characterize stratigraphic boundaries. Easy operation by single button and auto-stabilizing without the need for manmade radioactive sources are resulting from RSI’s vast experience in deploying field instruments. The RS-330 is the new generation of lightweight field spectrometers providing highest sensitivity and a selection of measurement methods including borehole, collimated setups and user defined input. The RS-125, RS-230 and RS-330 units are designed to be extremely rugged and durable bringing lab quality measurements to the field.
